Executive Stress Management
“The foundation of success in life is good
health, that is the substratum of fortune, it is also the basis of happiness. A
person cannot accumulate a fortune very well when he is sick. He has no
ambition; no incentive; no face.”
The above
quote was written in 1880 by P. T. Barnum in his book, The Art Of Money Making. The standard definition of health is a
condition of perfect physical, mental and spiritual well being. This is the
goal of this book. This book emphasizes the need for you to accord well-being,
feeling great and vigorous energy a special priority in your life. Health must
never be limited to the absence of signs and symptoms of diseases. You will go
a step further to generate energy, enthusiasm and passion for living.
Many
books on Stress Management are so voluminous and technical that they merely
serve to evoke even greater stress. This one is written with a simple,
impactful and fascinating style that is both amusing and informative. It comes
in short, reader-friendly chapters.
This is
not a book for medical diagnosis or treatment, and cannot replace the orthodox
and prudent approach of seeking medical attention when ill, nor must it
substitute or override the decision or prescription of your doctor. It is
written to help you help yourself.
As you
read, you are progressively led to learn and practice the basic laws of nature
such that vibrant health and vigorous energy becomes the general rule in your
life.
As I
round up this short preface, I want to expressively wish you the very best of
luck in enjoying excellent health, long, fruitful life and abundant happiness.
I wish, again, to share another great thought of P. T. Barnum;
“If, then, sound health is the foundation
of success and happiness in life, how important it is that we should study the
laws of health, which is but another expression for the laws of nature!”
